Cache is a camo screw top container with a log only BYO pen.
The town was substantially affected by a 7 magnitude earthquake of 24 May 1968 at 5.24am. The entire population of 100 was temporarily evacuated. No larger on-land earthquake subsequently occurred in NZ until the 7.1 mag earthquake in Christchurch on 4th Sept 2010
The Museum here is well worth a visit, has lots of information of the quake and of the area in general.
