Geocache Description:


This cache is located at a spot in rural Brandon along an old dirt road where at one time some 250 years ago a section of the Crown Point Military Road had once passed. For more information see VT-Spike's geocache GC1GXYY - Crown Point Road. He has a very nice writeup in his cache about the old road and it's military significance of the time.



This stone, erected in 1911 by the Lake Dunmore chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, marks the approximate location of the military road in this area.
