Te Awamutu Golf Club
Te Awamutu Golf Course is locally known as
“tree-a-mutu” mainly because of the tight fairways that
are surrounded with Trees.
There are some very challenging par4 holes which are the 4th,
6th, 9th,12th and 17th.
Some of these holes are close to 400 metres long, which is
rather challenging.
There is 2 par5 holes which can be reached with 2 good
swings.
The course is very easy walking, and covers quite a large level
area on Kihikihi road.
THe club has a great driving range facility donated to the
community by Te Wananga O Aotearoa.
A PGA certified practise green is also available for training
for local members.
