The cache is not at the posted coordinates.
If it were, it would be a pretty unsafe and ignorant place to put a
cache!
Begin Puzzle
An obscure read my mind, guess what I’m thinking
puzzle….Again? Well, what else to do for a cache with the
temperatures and the snow falling than a puzzle. So... cozy up by
the fire with some hot chocolate or a hot toddy and get
solving.
General rule of thumb for solving this puzzle -- there was a
farmer had a dog and bingo was his name-o has little or nothing to
do with solving it. BINGO is child’s play. This one takes an
older seasoned cacher with a little more experience under the
belt!
As for the hide, I know some people don’t have the spine
for tall tree climbing, but in the winter, an ammo can under a pile
of sticks and a foot of snow has just about the same degree of
difficulty. You can start thanking the gods in geocaching heaven
that I’m not that cruel in either of those departments. Once
you get the coordinates, the find should come easy.
Second rule of thumb is that you can’t come knocking on my
door for solutions (even if you are one of my clever cyber stalkers
that know where that might be), because I’m not giving any
and I have a large dog set to attack mode and although I’ll
give him a bone, I’m not throwing you one… well, at
least for one week!
Huh?!?!
End Puzzle
Cache is located at N43 xx.xxx W077 40.xxx
The final is a small lock&lock. BYOP. Once you've located
it, add your name to the log book and when you write your online
log/note for the find please include the number beside your log
entry. Please only one cacher per line in the log book. There is a
"lammy" for the FTF.
50 bonus points for independent solvers of this puzzle, and 25
bonus points for independent solvers after a hint is posted.
Also, the OC is running out of clever ways to hide "clues" to
the bonus cache, so this cache like several before it, has no
hidden clue to the final.
There will be 10 bonus points for the first 3 cachers to contact
me with the title of the R.E.M. song that has this cache's title as
part of a word in the lyrics. Obviously the OC likes R.E.M. That's
just a fun fact for you!
Happy solving and safe driving!
Congratulations to StrivingforCamelot, nebula5, and jfw26 for
being the quickest 3 to answer the bonus question correctly, the
word "bushwhacked" is in the lyrics of the R.E.M. song entitled
"Drive."
Congrats to Sase Mc-T for
being first to find. 2000 points for cachers who sign in
#0!
