This cache is located above a scenic pull off in the Kiamichi
Mountains, part of the Ouachita Mountain range and was placed in
honor of a friend who passed away over the summer.
When I began caching in 2002 he and his wife were the first cachers
I met. I guess that was largely because they were the only other
cachers within 50 miles of my home town.
Since we were the only local cachers we had to drive an hour or 2
just to go caching; it was a big deal to make it to 100 cache finds
in those days!
We had lots of fun populating the area with caches & competing
against each other for FTF's and total caches found. We didn't get
to cache together all that often but when we did I always enjoyed
it
You will be missed Aquila!
The cache is an ammo can and is well stocked. Items include
children's DVD's, a music CD from MOGA, an unactivated MOGA
Geocoin, computer RAM and 2 snake ink pens that were left in caches
for me by Aquila because he knew how much I love snakes. It seemed
fitting that I put these in a cache honoring him!
Please use caution when seeking this cache, a misstep could be
painful!
While here be sure to do the Earth Cache GCZ8ZT also located at
this same vista.
Have fun and be blessed!
