Geocache Description:

“Twisted Cache” – def: a cache that has a unique twist at the end, and is just a wee bit evil. Bring your writing utensil with you, and a bit of extra, unexpected time. If you are looking for a quick park & grab – this isn’t it! You’ll find something a bit different at the posted coordinates, which will lead you to a nano with a log at the end. As always, be very aware of your surroundings, stealthy, and very careful!

Our love/hate relationships with the nano cannot be ignored!! Those who have sought my hides over the past year have noticed that I’ve used the “nano” cache container quite a bit. Like those who have hunted them, I, too, have developed a love/hate relationship with the nano (more hate than love) and plan this hide as the last of my nanos – time to retire this type of hide for me. So, I think you’ll agree this is a wicked way to retire the nano!

The container (which is larger than a nano – you’ll understand why in a bit) is at the posted coordinates and shouldn’t be too difficult to find. Please be sure to replace it as you found it – everything intact. If there is a problem with any aspect of it … please just contact me as soon as you can and I will address. When found, you’ll have all you need to locate the final nano with the log to sign, except what you’ll bring with you - a bit of unexpected time, your sharp geo-senses, and some patience.

Oh, although I mentioned I’ll be retiring the “nano” container for my future hides, I reserve the right to potentially resurrect it at a later date. If I do, it won’t be as nasty as this cache, I promise!

Enjoy!

Updated (30 November 2010): Congrats to Hogan843, GeoVern and DinaWorks ... not only for their combined FTF, but also for their true geocaching spirit to pursue this one in the dark, torrential rains and cold temperatures! Also, congrats to mgbmusic for his close STF and his adventures with the cache!!
