Geocache Description:

Not sure what this was originally intended for, but probably not as a hang out for the local kids. Seemed like a great spot for a cache though.

Update from the log of Stewy1966....

On the vacant property there was originally planned to be a multi purpose office complex. Then I saw signs on the building along Daughty Ferry that it was going to be a Saturn Dealer. Saturn went out of business. Also there was going to be an entrance along the road near the bridge but the city of Manchester got upset the Valley Park got the area so they acted like my children and decided if we can't have the property you can not have an entrance. At least that is my understanding of why the bridge is here and what happened.
