Geocache Description:

Grubb Street is a community near High Offley, and also the name of an old Roman Road between Norbury and High Offley and through the surrounding countryside.

The Shropshire Union canal passes under Grubb Street close to where the cache is hidden.

The cache is placed near to a public footpath in an area of woodland close to the road.

A nearby tunnel containing a stream is an interesting feature that you may or may not wish to explore - please note that the cache is not down the tunnel!

Be careful of GPS coverage due to tree cover. I hope my co-ords are on target - I have checked them thoroughly - please let me know if there are any problems.

If you carry on down the path, following the stream, you can visit nearby Loynton Moss or Woodseaves along a well used network of public footpaths, including the canal towpath.

Please take a pen, I can't remember whether I put one in or not...

I have noticed one or two cachers mentioning the barbed wire. There is a way around, so if you find yourself confronted by barbed wire, skirt around to the south slightly, and you won't have to contend with the barbed wire.

The path along the north side of the canal is not a public towpath. If approaching from the west, you need to enter the wood a little further north, using the stile(s).

New for 2013! - Someone appears to have installed steps leading down to the brook, and done away with the barbed wire. This has perhaps made the cache slightly easier to get to.
