Geocache Description:

This is a small cache in a beautiful spot along the Springfield Trail between Sproul Road (Route 320) and Smedley Park. The trail is marked by yellow blazes.

Cobras Rock! is located at the site of a old quarry along the Springfield Trail. You can access this section of the trail from the Hancock Church Parking lot, from Jane Lownes Park or from Smedley Park. The cache is a very large pill vial with a log and pencil inside. The cache was placed by the Cobra Patrol of Cub Scout Pack 240. The spot is a very pleasant area for a secluded picnic and the Township has recently placed a table here for that purpose. Enjoy your lunch in the shadow of a large rock face, covered in moss and ferns. Nearby, a small creek trickles past.
