Geocache Description:

Please access log in cache without moving cache from
it's location. The base is somewhat delicate. Thanks.

Enjoy a 1/4 mile walk down a lovely trail leading to a tiny secluded beach. In the summer you can see butterflies fluttering around the shrubs lining the trail. After you find the cache there are some wonderful spots to have a picnic.

Please do not remove the contaner, just open it and remove the log, thanks.

Permission was granted by DNR to place this cache.

We were at the Bill Burton Fishing Pier Park walking along a delightful water side trail looking for the perfect place to hide our geocache when we stumbled across a cat colony.

Working with Tomcat Solutions of Easton we identified, trapped, spayed and neuered fifteen cats and kittens. We found homes for three and released the rest at the fishing pier. In tandem with Tomcat Solutions we built shelters and coordinated feeding schedules.

A beautiful, peaceful day at the park turned into a time consuming, costly but extremely
rewarding experience.
While in a whirlwind of tails and wiskers we found a great location for our cache.

If you have time, say hi to the kitties and don't forget to Spay and Neuter. If you want to see the cats, stand near the feeding station and pop open a can of cat food. They will come running from every direction. Thx
