Geocache Description:


"Himmel og Hav" (tidligere "Strandleiren") ble etablert som en kristen leir for unge på slutten av 1940 -tallet av Racin Kolnes (NMS misjonær i Kina). I 1959 ble eiendommen ble overført til NMS eierskap. Nå er stedet omgjort til et hotell og konferansesenter drevet av NMS. Like ved senteret ligger et lite kapell med plass til ca 60 personer.

Himmel og Hav" (formerly "Strandleiren") was established as a Christian camp for youth in the late 1940's by Racin Kolnes (NMS missionary in China). In 1959, the property was transferred to NMS ownership. Now the place is a hotel and conference center run by NMS. Close to the center is a small chapel with room for about 60 people.
