Homeless Harry's
Homicidal Hideout

An artist's rendering of Harold Wright using eyewitness
desriptions from those who knew him at the time of the
investigations combined with old photographs.

In the late spring of 2005, in a small wooded area, just a few hundred feet from these coordinates, a local mushroom hunter discovered the partially exposed bodies of 11 murder victims in shallow graves.
Upon investigation, it was soon discovered the culprit behind these murders was a homeless man by the name of Harold Wright, dubbed Homeless Harry by the people questioned who knew him, who was living in a tent just 50 ft. or so from these coordinates. He was reported to be a drifter, originally from Medicine Bow, Wyoming, who wandered into town the previous summer.
Of the individuals questioned, all said that Harold was very reclusive and kept to himself, rarely speaking to anybody.
By the time investigators discovered Harold's campsite, he had already made his escape, leaving behind 2 more recent victims, one still tied and gagged inside his tent, his throat slit open. The other victim, a woman in her mid thirties who was later identified through dental records, was reported missing just a few days prior. Her body grotesquely mutilated, her severed head packed in ice inside a yellow igloo drink cooler. Several other body parts were also found hanging over a small camp grill.
The other 11 victims were found to have endured terrible tortures. Autopsy reports claimed that limbs showed signs of amputation before death, including bones having evidence of sawing and/or hacking. No determiation could be made if any of the bite or chew marks on any of the bones were from human teeth.
It is believed that the victims were kept alive for days or even weeks inside his tent while these attrocities were being performed.
Harold Wright has never been found and brought to justice for these crimes.
Currently, Harold is believed to be tied to a string of vicious murders stretching between Medicine Bow, Wyoming and Dayton, Ohio.
Although he is believed to have fled the Dayton area or even the state of Ohio, there are still reported sightings of him near his old campsite, but no recent evidence of his presence has yet been discovered.

When you are looking for the cache, you may still see remnants of Harold's campsite, but all evidence of any value to the investigation has long since been removed by the authorities.
