Geocache Description:

The Shepard Memorial Cemetery is located on the south side of Interstate 10, just west of the FM2434 intersection. The earliest known year of death is 1850 and as of November 16, 2009 there were 179 known burials in the cemetary. The racial mix of the cemetary is all black.

The cache is a small rectangular box. (replaced on 12/26/15)

The contents of the replacement cache included: Welcome CR8 (travel bug); puzzle, Log book; and 1 pen.
