Welcome to Flitwick - with a silent 'W'. This is a series of caches designed to increase Flitwick's presence on the caching map. They will be added gradually over the winter of 2010 / 2011.
If you wish to chase the FTF you'll have to come here often. Alternatively you may want to wait till all of them (I'm intending for them to be 15 plus a bonus cache) to be in place.

Cache #12 has been set to recognise the contributions to a healthy lifestyle that Flitwick offers. As well as various sports clubs that you may have already come across earlier in this series, Flitwick has a leisure centre and swimming pool, skatepark, various parks and playgrounds. There are also woodlands, moors and a country park providing ample opportunities to go for a healthy country stroll in addition to numerous footpaths in and around the town. Alternatively, the sets of allotments help residents to grow their own 'five-a-day'. If none of this appeals, then at least you can park your car and walk between the twenty-plus caches Flitwick has to offer!
The cache is located close to one of these 'healthy' places. I have had to relocate it (August 2012) due to an ants nest! The new location is even more muggle infested!
I apologise for the 'cheap and cheerful' nature of the cache container and also that it is not from a particularly healthy source. On the bright side, if it gets muggled it won't be the last straw for this cache!
You may need to use a tool of some description to retrieve it. Please ensure it is replaced as found to make it less visible to our muggle friends. It contains a log only. There is no room for a writing implement, so you will need to bring your own.
Don't forget to collect the information needed for the bonus. This is written at the top of the back of the cache lognote.
Please log any issues / DNF's - even with just a note so I can make sure the cache is still in place.
