Welcome to The Cancer Survivors Garden and Pavillion!

The gardens are gorgeous. There are smells and sights to delight the senses and a long corridor of greenery to remind us to appreciate life in full bloom.
We have all lost loved ones to the battle with cancer. This is a special place for those who are still battling and, at least for me, to stop by, pause, and remember those who have passed.
Situated at a beautiful spot where LSD takes a turn and you have a wonderful view to the south along The Drive with The Field Museum framing in the south end.
Stop for a moment and slow down.
This was a Terracache that had been placed back in 2006 to help support my dear friend Thom (Torus) who passed in 2008 after a courageous battle.
Miss you Thom. :(
