Knock on Wood Traditional Cache

This p&g cache is in a small park across from a store that was there for many years called “Knock on Wood” Please be stealth and cover it well, this is the 3rd cache placed here because of evil mugglers.
This park used to be the location for the Bedford Cenotaph. The big lion was moved to its new location at Fish Hatchery Park, see GC144CG
While you’re there take a peek around. You can see the old Bedford Central School. This school used to be a High School and students from outlying areas traveled by train from Windsor Junction to attend. Prior to being a school, building was a convalescence home for returning WWI vets.
Back in the day when Bedford was a happening vacation spot. There was a rowdy hotel at the location of the Golden Bakery across the street. (picture attached).
