This series has 11 caches over 4 miles, taking you around Norton Hawkfield, Norton Malreward and Stanton Drew.
The route is mostly on footpaths with short strolls along a few quiet lanes, there is a rocky downhill stretch of bridleway which can be slippery when wet. There is also a very busy road with no pavement that you have to walk along for 15 yards and cross after No.7. You may encounter cattle at certain times of the year and even aeroplanes! Parking for a few cars at N 51° 22.229 W 002° 34.772. There are a couple of other caches near to the route that can be found on the way back to your car. If you fancy any refreshments after, the pub in Stanton Drew does a good pint. An OS map will help you to find the footpaths but I have added a couple of pointers to help. None of these caches contain any pens so please bring your own, most are lock and lock containers. While walking up the hill to this first one stop and admire the views behind you including Stanton Drew Stone Circle. Lock and lock container. Well done The Rowan and Bossbob for a FTF.
