This museum is housed in what was the Clay County Jail from 1890 to 1973. It has been restored and is now operated as a museum by the Clay County Heritage Society. If you go during business hours, you'll get to view the sheriff's family living quarters as well as the accommodations for the registered guests. The museum also has a huge collection of photos documenting the history of Clay County.
The cache is located outside the building on the museum grounds and is accessible 24-hours.
