This cache is on a track that links up with the Skyline track. Although there are no Council signs at the Trailhead there are some further up the hill where a track branches off to Otari-Wilton’s Bush and another one at the top. The Barn is used by people to store their ‘tack’ for the horses that graze the local hills. The cache is not located on or under the Barn. This mountain biking web site: http://tracks.org.nz/ lists this track as Intermediate grade 2.29km in length. The closest Trailhead is at S41º 15.692 Eº174 45.514 Small 200ml clip top container. Please NOTE that you must sign the logbook for each individual cacher, Finds logged not corresponding with the logbook may be deleted. Please take some time before leaving to ensure that the cache is re-hidden exactly as you found it.
