Bykle Rådhus ligger midt i Bykle. Rådhuset er et flott bygg som er verd et besøk i seg selv, men kommunestyresalen er utsmykket med en flott samling malerier av Reidar Fritzvold. Disse er mulig å få se ved henvendelse i informasjonen på rådhuset, så fremt det ikke er møtevirksomhet i salen.
Bykle kommune ligg øvst i Setesdal i Aust-Agder fylke. Det er to bygdesenter i kommunen, Bykle kyrkjebygd der kommuneadministrasjonen ligg, og turiststaden Hovden.
Det er 965 innbyggjarar (pr. 01.01.2009)
Bykle er rik på det som er fint å vekse opp med, og som gir barna våre grunnleggjande verdiar, ei god ballast å ta med seg vidare. Ein treng tryggleik og positive omgjevnadar og impulsar for å kunne trivast og tru på seg sjølv. Vi som har bodd her ei stund veit alt om dette og vil gjerne at også du, om du vil, skal få oppleve dette. Vi er ikkje mange og vil gjerne bli fleire! Vi trur det er ein fordel at du likar småsamfunn og veit kva det krevst av den enkelte å leve og bu slik.Om du er viljug til å stå på og gjere ein innsats, vert samfunnet vårt enno betre å bu i, og du har kan hende funne ein plass der du vil byggje og bu.
God kommuneøkonomi har gjort det mogleg å investere i gode tilbod innan helse- og sosialtilbod, barne- og ungdomstilbod, kultur- og fritidstilbod. Vi har særs gode aktivitetsbygg både i Bykle og på Hovden og ellers fine lokale innan dei fleste område. Her kan alle oppleve ein god oppvekst, utfordrande næringsliv, eit mangfald av fritidstilbod og ein trygg alderdom.
Som innbyggjar i Bykle kommune får vi i pose og sekk når kommunen satsar på eit heilårleg reiselivstilbod. Ein roleg novemberdag er vi kan hende 800 personar totalt, og midt i påska kan det vere langt over 10 000 på besøk her.
Fritidstilboda er omfattande året rundt og over 30 friviljuge organisasjonar gjer det lett å vere aktiv og finne seg gode vener her.

Bykle municipality is situated at the top of Setesdal in Aust-Agder county.
There are two centers in the municipality, Bykle and Hovden.

Bykle City Hall is located in Bykle. The City Hall is a great building that is worth a visit in itself, but the local town hall is adorned with a fine collection of paintings by Reidar Fritzvold. These are possible to see by contacting the information on the Town Hall, unless there is a meeting in the auditorium.
Hovden is rich in that which is good to grow up with, and provides our children basic values, a good ballast to carry on. You need security and positive surroundings and impulses in order to thrive, and faith in himself. We who have lived here a while know all about this and would like you too, if you will, to experience this. We are not a lot and would like to be more! We believe it is an advantage that you like small communities and know what it was required by the individual to live and live like this. If you are willing to stand on and make an effort, our society is even better to live in, and you may fhave ound a place where you will build and live.
A good local government has made it possible to invest in good offered within the health care courses, child and youth courses, cultural and leisure activities. We have very good activity in both the building and Hovden Hovden and other fine local within most areas. We can all enjoy a good childhood, challenging industry, a diversity of leisure activities and a secure old age.
As an inhabitant of the municipality Bykle we get your cake and eat it too when local movements on a full annual tourism program. A quiet November day, we may be 800 persons in total, and in the middle of Easter may be far above 10 000 on a visit here.
Leisure offer is extensive throughout the year and over 30 voluntary organizations makes it easy to be active and find good friends here.
