Constantine and Helen
The given coordinates lead to the church, not to the cache.
About two to three km from Kouklia on the road to Archimandrita lays the little Byzantine church of St Constantine and St Helen. It is said that a long time ago it was a Monastery housing many monks. Over the years it has been destroyed both externally and internally and today all there is left is the central part of the church, which was renovated by the Department of Antiquities some 40 years ago.
To the south of the church there is a stream. At a distance of 200 metres from the church and alongside the stream there is an underground cell which seems to be an extension of the monastery. The entrance, which is made of stone, is next to the stream. It is actually more of a cave than a traditional monk's cell. It is covered with hagiographies (visual images of saints) that survive quite clear until today.
This information is collected from the Kouklia website, (http://www.kouklia.org.cy/users/site/english/churches.shtm).
There is a sturdy iron grating with two hefty locks barring the entrance to the cell, but should you wish to enter you can get a key from the Archaeological Office at Palaipaphos according to the sign.
Standing in front of the church you can see one of the windmills looming high in the sky behind it. That is Cyprus in a nutshell; the ancient and the modern side by side.
A bit of trivia to liven up the day: Apart from being the name of a small village in the Paphos region, Archimandrita is also a kind of cockroach, Archimandrita Tessellata.

To see the message, bring the stereogram image really close to your eyes (until you touch it with your nose). At this distance your eyes cannot focus on the image and they look somewhere behind the image. Now, slowly push the image away from you, while trying to keep the eyes off focus. At some point you will see the hidden image. Amazing and fun, isn't it?
As usual there is an FTF certificate and a lottery ticket waiting to be picked up.
