Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Warwick Demonstration Forest and Finch Township Recreational Trail.

During the fall hunting season remember to exercise caution and wear bright orange clothing.

Congratulations to Canuckeh on the F.T.F.

As you continue along this trail be on the look out for man made wildlife brush piles, that were constructed to create habitat for wildlife. To make a long lasting brush pile, you start by piling rocks and stone, followed by logs, large branches and finally smaller branches. Brush piles are used by wildlife primarily for feeding, cover from predators, nesting and hibernating.

Also as you make your way to this cache location, you will pass by the South Nation Conservation Interpretive trail marking #6 “The old Homestead” and if you look carefully, you can still see the foundation of one of the original farms in this area.
