This is a 4 stage multi-cache in Bolton's Rattlesnake Hill
Conservation area. No puzzles, just nice trails with good
descriptions of the local flora. The intermediate stages require
you to hunt for some of the local fauna and the final is a
winter-friendly container and hide. Some stages of this cache may
be difficult if there is more than 2 feet of snow on the
ground.
Parking is available at Lime Kiln approximately 1.5 miles east
of 495 on Route 117. There are some great trails here including the
Bob Horton Memorial Interpretive Trail. This multi will take you on
the Bob Horton and Harris Trails with a nice loop with interesting
sights and lots of critters.
Rattlesnake Hill was the first conservation land purchased by
the Bolton Conservation Trust. There are no known rattlesnakes on
the land now, but there probably were at some time long ago. The
Rattlesnake Hill trails are great for biking, skiing and hiking.
Access to Rattlesnake Hill is available at Old Sugar Road, Harris
Farm or Lime Kiln. Enjoy!
