Right outside the Dargaville Museum located in Harding Park overlooking the town, with Magnificent views of Toka Toka Peak, Maungaraho Rock and the Historic Northern Wairoa River.A great place to explore. Also located here is the home of the Kaipara Vintage Machinery Club, the Lookout and also Historic Po-Tu-O Te Rangi Pa Site. Bush walks, so plenty for everyone to enjoy.Learn the story of the "Rainbow Warrior" bombing in Auckland Harbour "Ten Minutes to Midnight" an exhibtion to commemorate the 25th Anniversay. A memorial Tribute to the "Rainbow Warrior" and her crew.
Dargaville is a Two and a half hour drive north of Auckland on the Twin Coast Discovery Highway enroute to Kai iwi Lakes, Trounson Park and the Majestic Waipoua Forest. Plenty of caches along the way to enjoy. Come one , come all.Cache to small for writer. BYO enjoy.
