Cache located at the Casa do Sertanista, Sao Paulo SP
The Casa do Sertanista ( House of the frontiersman ) is a typical residence of the Brazilian colonial period constructed from rammed earth, with hipped roof and dirt floors, in the style of the "bandeiristas" houses, which has as examples the Bandeirante's House and The Place of Father Ignacio ( where I have two more caches).
According to historians, the first resident was Father Belchior Pontes, through other owners until it was donated in 1958 by the Companhia City to the City of São Paulo. Restored, the home housed the Museum of the frontiersman, and then the Center for Indigenous Culture and finally the Museum of Folklore, which was transferred from Oca do Ibirapuera. The museum was deactivated and the pieces removed from the house.
The house was restored and should be visited from 8:00 to 17:00 Monday to Saturday.
The cache is little plastic tube.
