Mickprov: I haven't been able to get out to the Island in years. A recent cacher has stated there is a new phone booth where the cache was located and cache has been removed. They will resurrect this cache someday.

Geocache Description:

Micro cache hidden on the ferry landing on Fishers Island.

I had never been to Fishers Island until today and while out on a service call I could not beleive there was not one single cache on the whole Island. Something had to be done about this I thought. So, voila The Fisher Island Cache was created.

This is the second cache I made of this type. It consists of a 3/8" tubing with fittings and plugs on each end to make it waterproof. To open CC push in gray retaining ring while pulling out tubing at the same time. The log is inside. No room for any swag or pen so BYOP and enjoy the scenic views around the Island.

Coordinates were taken with a Garmin Nuvi 200 so they may not be as close as I would have liked but any seasoned cacher will be able to find it quite easily given the hint.
