A relaxing spot for a stroll around a lake, a spot of fishing with BBQ facilities
The Bordertown recreation lake was constructed in 1987 when 140,000 metres of fill was required to build the approach embankments for the nearby Tolmer overpass. Local anglers keep the lake stocked with Red Fin, Rainbow trout, Silver Perch and Callop. Enjoy your short walk around the lake and see the sluice gates, on the day we placed the cache heavy rains ensured the lake was full and the overflow had the creeks flowing well. You are looking for a small brown sistema container.
