Geocache Description:

THE CACHE IS ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE. I have had to move it up a bit because the council have removed the ivy.

THE CACHE IS ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE OF THE ROCKS AS YOU GO DOWN FROM THE MAIN ENTRANCE. Northumberland Park is being updated and is a very popular place for dog walkers and children. Watch out for the three grey squirrels which are regularly seen. The ducks and other water fowl will love you talking to them. Please don't feed them. Look out for the Kingfisher on the branch. All the paths are VERY steep so care will be needed if you are using any sort of transport. The park is beautiful in all weathers. The local residents have set up a neighbourhood watch scheme and are regularly seen planting bulbs and weeding. The park now has a mixture of Park Keepers and Gardeners who are there from 7am - 7pm all of whom are regualrly seen and available to give advice on the wildlife in the area. The Park also has a new play area for the children. Children from the local Nursery School planted bulbs this year throughout the park so it should be beautiful in the Spring. Regeneration is still on going but the Park has seem some fantastic changes. Toilets are now open and the Cafe open in the Summer. Please. Please replace cache where you found it.
