Korte wandeling, circa 1 kilometer, langs de sporten die op- en rondom de stort worden gespeeld.
De cache bevind zich niet op bovenstaande coördinaten, maar hier kan goed geparkeerd worden.
Short walk, approximately 1 kilometre, along various sports that are played on- and around the dump.
The cache will not be found at the coordinates as shown above, but it is a good parking space to begin.

Voor het oude sportcomplex met de vuilnisbelt zijn in 1995 de eerste plannen gemaakt om de vuilnisbelt bij het oude sportcomplex te trekken. Voor de gemeente Katwijk was dit eigenlijk de beste optie. Daar de gemeente op de oude atletiekbaan woningen hebben geprojecteerd.
In 2006 zijn de definitieve locatie- en plankeuze gemaakt.
Jaar 2007 was voor de uitwerking van het projectplan en het maken van een voorlopig programma van eisen. In 2008 is het programma van eisen definitief gemaakt evenals een inrichtingsplan. 2009 was het jaar voor de aanbesteding. 2010 werd begonnen met de uitvoering van het gehele plan. De nieuwe hockeyvelden werden als eerste opgeleverd, samen met de vernieuwing van het voetbalterrein. Oktober 2010 is de atletiekbaan in gebruik genomen.
Mei/juni 2011 zal de schietbaan in gebruik worden genomen samen met het nieuwe clubgebouw van de atletiek.
Deze cache zal een wandeling zijn langs alle nieuwe en vernieuwde sportaccommodaties. Als het gehele project is opgeleverd, kan de gehele cache gelopen worden langs alle sportvelden inclusief de trimbaan.
De parkeerplaats waar nu geparkeerd kan worden is ook nieuw aangelegd.
Voor de podiumplaatsen is een leuk presentje aanwezig in deze cache.

English:
In 1995 the first plans were made to include the dump-area with the old sport-area. For the city of Katwijk this was the best option, because new houses were going to be build on the old athletics track. In 2006 the final location and plans were made.
The projectplan and requirements elaboration were done in 2007. In 2008 the final requirements and furnishingplans were completed. The implementation of the whole plan started in 2010. First, the new hockey-fields were completed, together with the renewing of the soccer-area. In October 2010 the new athletics track was ready.
The shooting range will be in use around May/June 2011, together with the athletics clubhouse.
This cache will be a walk along new and renewed sportaccomodations. When the whole project is complete, this multi can be walked across all sport-areas including the jogging track.
The parking place (coordinates above) is also new.
For the podium, there will be a nice present waiting in this cache.
