The Soleri Bridge by Paolo Soleri 2010
At $3.2 million, this is the largest installation ever undertaken by Scottsdale Public Art.
It is the first bridge designed by Soleri to be constructed in the world.
None of the many bridges Soleri designed were ever built but he is also well known for the wind chime bells he has designed and made as well as Acrosanti in Cordes Junction.
During the Solstice, the shortest day of the year, at noon, the pylon's shadow is on the bridge... if the sun is shining...
