Geocache Description:

Small "camoed" pill bottle along a new section of the JCT BIKE TRAIL! NOT accessible from Route 35 or the east at this time. BYOP

The tunnel is now complete! So one can ride about 16 miles one way from Xenia Station to the end of the Jamestown Trail after getting to the start on WASHINGTON street 0.2 miles east of Xenia Station!

Original Write Up:
I discovered today that work is progressing on linking up the Jamestown Connector Trail (JCT) with Xenia Station! Once completed this will allow one to ride from Xenia Station out to Jamestown and beyond without having to ride on roads.

UPDATE FROM JAMESTOWN CONNECTOR TRAIL WEBSITE
The trail from Xenia Station to Jamestown is complete EXCEPT for the ..."400 foot tunnel under US-35 will still need to be built and this is scheduled for 2013."
The Detour until the tunnel is completed is as follows- Coming from Xenia Station, leave the trail at S. Columbus Street and follow US-68 (Home Avenue South) You'll cross over US-35 in about one mile. Turn left (East) on Hook Road and continue about 1.25 miles down Hook Road and turn left (North) onto South Bickett Road. Take Bickett about .3 miles North to the end of the trail and continue East to Jamestown and the Fayette County line.
