Another cache located along the Presumpscot River. To get to the parking take Allen Ave to Summit street to Curtis Street to Overset. Parking is at the end of Overset Road.
Cache is small and is a replacement for our other cache that some of you may remember "Memorial cache for Roger" because that one went missing. Please be stealthy when retrieving this cache. Cache is a little over half a mile roundtrip.
We placed this cache to honor our great fishing friend and buddy, Roger, on his birthday today, December 16th. He was our boss at UPS and after our shift ended at work we would all head out and go fishing. This was just one of the many spots along this river that we would go and catch all kinds of fish, mostly stripers. Roger would always talk about how he couldn't wait for a nearby outdoor specialty store to open in Scarborugh so that he could shop for new fishing gear including a tackle box. So we've bought a tackle box that he would've loved and made it into a cache. And although Roger is no longer with us he will always remain in our hearts forever. Happy Birthday Roger.
