There are two near by things to see.
Chao Po Suea Shrine;
The shrine was moved from Bamrungmuang Road to it's present location by King Chulalongkorn.
The legend is that in a village the grandson of Mrs Fong was bitten to death by a tiger. The tiger was sentenced to death but the old lady took pity on the beast and adopted it. Seven years later she died and during the cremation the tiger jumped into the flames and died and was cremated with her. The villagers built the shrine for the tiger.
Wat Mahanparam Worawihan:
A lovely quiet temple with a large chedi in the back.
