A lovely library in the city with tradition going back.
Mrs Jennie Neilson Hays followed her husband, Dr Heyward, chief of the Royal Thai Naval Hospital, to Bangkok in 1869. The building was built for the memorial of the love Dr. Heyward had for his wife who passed away in 1920.
The building was designed by, Mario Tamango an Italian who was employed by the court and designed the Anantasamakhom Throne hall.
