Palace built for a King but never used by that king.
King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) had Chan Kasem Palace built for is son HRH Prince Maha Vajiravudh in a modern style. Prior to being completed the King passed away and the prince became King Rama VI and moved into Suan Dusit Palace.
Chan Kasem Palace is the headquarters of the ministry of Education and the Teachers council.
