Another cache in the Imposter series, this time with some fun thrown in for the junior hunters.
Note that the cache is in an extreme muggle zone when the weather is fine so, please consider the risk involved in attempting an extraction with eyes upon you. Geocaching etiquette would suggest that walking away rather than compromising a cache location is "Always" the better option...
As is typical for my imposters the container size is listed as a micro however, you will find that the outer container may be larger than you anticipate. It has been adapted to fit in with its surroundings.
This cache is a simple 1 stage multi within a suburban park but, finding everything may test your spotting skills. To find the location of the container you will need to answer the questions below and apply some simple arithmetic once you have the answers.
Lets go...
Your stepped path from the car park is illuminated at night. How many black lights can you find within 1m from the steps? Answer = A
The playground shade is held aloft by a series of cylinders. How many posts elevate the shades? Answer = B
In the water close to the playground, there are a number of potential resting places for a Pelican (there was a pelican on one of them when this cache was first listed). How many resting places? Answer = C
It seems a wreck has made its way to this area and has been adorned with a cool name. How many letters in the name of the wreck? Answer = D
Checksum = 21
OK, you’re almost there. Use your answers to calculate the following outputs and head to GZ... The cache is located at S27 40. $ # @ E152 54. * % +
$ = A+C
# = B-2
@ = D-B-A
* = Cx2+2
% = Ax(B-C)
+ = (B-C)/2
Happy Hunting...
Joint FTF Honours go to Missbhavin and gaz'n'kab. Congratulations.
