The cache is located just below Quartz Knoll on the track from the Crown Saddle to Tuhoys Saddle. The cache is located on the track from the Crown Saddle to Tuhoys Saddle. It is a 6 hour walk starting from the Crown Saddle Carpark that follows the ridgeline along to Mt Allen, then along to Tuhoys Saddle via Quartz Knoll and Queensberry Hill.
The cache is located at about 1530m above sea level and is very exposed to the elements. Anyone attempting this cache needs to be well prepared for tramping and prepared for sudden changes in weather.
Make sure you take your camera as the views are fantastic!
The cache is a 350L container containing all the usual stuff, sorry it's not bigger, but couldn't locate a hiding place for anything larger.
