Geocache Description:


With permission from the Monroe County Local History Room, I was able to place a cache at this interesting historic spot that was constructed from 1929 -1936. Take time to read the plaque that is on the grounds to learn more about the Grotto or you can visit the link below.

PLEASE Hunt for the cache only during set hours
Memorial Day – Labor Day 8am to 8pm
Rest of the year 8am to 5pm or your cache will be deleted

The cache itself is not located under, on, between or inside any of the structures. So there is no need to search the fence or church or any of the displays. So look around the grounds but comply with the posted rules.
