Geocache Description:

This cache is tucked in the woods along the North Branch of the Metedeconk River. The North Branch originates in Freehold near Rt 537, Monmouth Rd., then flows 25 miles through Freehold, Howell, Jackson, Lakewood and Brick where it meets the South Branch of the Metedeconk. These streams are the head waters of Barnegat Bay. The cache is a small camo'd lock-n-lock, secreted just off a trail in Woodlane Park, Jackson. The township park is open 8AM to dusk. There is ample parking, a playground, and a port o john for your caching convenience. The Jackson soccer clubs also use the park so the potential for muggles is high, although the cache is tucked in down a trail out of view. BYOP
