This series examines the ugliest, most embarassing,
and shameful locations in already less-than-glamourous town, our
home, Arthur, Ontario.
LOCATION #1: TRASH
EVERYWHERE
Looking to the west: In the fenced off area is
Arthur's old town dump, which has recently undergone a bit
of a facelift. Nevertheless, not a place to go searching for buried
treasure.
Looking to the east: This barren land is where the
Township of Wellington North dumps all of their excess snow
from public areas. As you can imagine, it is beautiful in the
spring run-off.
-and-
Looking to the northwest: Another type of
"trash"....tornado magnets.
If that wasn't enough, just continue to the end of
the cul-de-sac, to check out Arthur's waste water
facility.
Keep your eyes peeled for other "crappy"
caches.
