EAST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP COMPLETES NEW "TURNPIKE PARK" PATHWAY

“Turnpike Park,” an 80 acre Township-owned open space property, is located off of Old York Road just west of the New Jersey Turnpike and overpass bridge. The Pathway, which is approximately six feet wide, begins at the entrance to “Turnpike Park” off of Old York Road and meanders through the heavily wooded property, connecting to a Township constructed trail in neighboring Woods Road Community Park. Along the trail, users will be able to view various forms of native wildlife, and the open space area is an ideal location for bird watchers. The Pathway is also a great spot for viewing fall foliage. To maintain the natural environment of the Pathway, no motorized vehicles are permitted to use the trail.
