A winter friendly cache hidden while cross country skiing. These trails are beautiful! Many different areas to park and enter the trail system but we started at Enchantment Park.
This is a high muggle area, even in the winter, so please take care with the cache. This is a beautiful area all year round. Our family has always enjoyed these trails. There are interpretive signs and even a children's steelhead pond along the way.
The kids had a blast hiding this cache unexpectedly while on XC skis for the first time. I will need to come back with a better camo'd container to decrease mugglabilty.
There is free parking at Enchantment Park but a longer walk in the winter. One can snowshoe, walk, or ski along these trails (for free) in the winter. Biking, hiking, swimming, fishing are popular activities in the summer.
