Chuck Walla: Hello Know Method,

The deadline set in my previous note has been reached. I see that you have not checked on your geocache and addressed the issue with it. Nor, alternatively, have you posted a note to your geocache page to tell me and others of your intention to address the issue with it.

No response tells me that you are not planning on replacing or repairing this geocache. Therefore, I am archiving it.

Please note that this geocache cannot be unarchived if you later address the issue with it. You will need to create a new geocache listing and submit it for review if you intend to keep a geocache at this location.

Geocache Description:

This is an easy park and grab at the Avard City Park. I chose to place a cache here because this park has special meaning to me. Bring your own pen. This is a log only.

On May 26th, 2010, I proposed to my wife here at this park in Avard. I have never been so nervous in my life. I wanted to "pop the big question" in a country setting that would have a beautiful view at sunset. I knew of this little park because I grew up in a near by town called Alva.
I wanted this to be a total surprise and to do the whole "get down on one knee" bit. My plan was to sing a few songs while playing my acoustic guitar as we watched the sun set right over this little pond. After singing a few songs, I cleverly said I was thirsty and asked my sweetie to walk back to the car to get me a drink. I was ready on one knee with ring in hand as she arrived back with my drink.
She was totally shocked but had no trouble saying yes. This was truely one of the greatest moments of my life. I'll never forget it. I now have the best geocaching partner for life and I hope you enjoy the Avard area. We were marriend June 11th, 2011.
