retiredprof: In light of geocaching's recent changes to the publishing rules, I am archiving all 150 of my challenge caches. I am a retired psychology professor, not a computer programmer. I am simply unable to comply with the new geochecker rules. I am sad that I have to do this. For those who have already begun any of my challenge caches, please note that you can still log archived caches. If you have any problems with this decision, please contact the geocaching authorities so that your suggestions may be considered.

Geocache Description:

The cache is hidden at the above-listed coordinates in a small grove of redwoods near Ellis Lake. There is parking about fifty yards to the west, and be sure to carry your arm-extender tool with you. In order to log this cache, you must first find a dozen caches, as explained below.

************LOGGING REQUIREMENTS************

The Chinese Zodiac Calendar has twelve stages, each represented by an animal: rat, ox, tiger, hare, dragon, snake, horse, ram, monkey, rooster, dog, and pig. Your job is to find 12 caches, each with a different zodiac animal in the title. Do not use any substitutions, such as rabbit for hare, sheep for ram, or chicken for rooster...and do not use abbreviations for the animals, and do not use compound words such as "oxbow" or "piggyback."

There is no time limit, you may already have found the required caches. When logging this cache, list your requisite caches as shown below...and include six different categories (icons) of caches on your list. As we are currently in the year of the tiger, I hope you have a roarin' good time as you pursue this project...
