The cache is hidden around Kanazawa castle Imorizaka slope exit.
The Maeda family, domain loads of Kaga clan ruled current Ishikawa, Toyama and part of Niigata prefecuture since 16c. The scale was 1 million Koku (stones); that means they had been ruled people and land producing rice feeding 1 million people.
They built the Kanazawa castle here, and still parts of the main castle is remaining, some other parts are rebuilt. You can enjoy walking in the park, and observe many methods of stonewalling depends to the age.
Around the cache point is one of the gate Imorizaka slope, which had been built in Edo era of 19c and rather new gate. The Kanazawa castle park closes during the night, but the cache is set outside of the park zone.

キャッシュは金沢城いもり坂入口付近に隠してあります。
加賀藩の城主、前田家は、16世紀から加賀・能登・越中の3国を治めた藩主です。加賀藩の規模は百万石といいますから、100万人を養うだけの米を生産する規模の農地・人々を治めていたことになります。
前田家はこの地に金沢城を建築しました。現在は当時の城は一部分しか残っていませんが、再建築された部分も数多くあります。金沢城は公園となっており、時代に応じたさまざまな石垣の建築方法をみることができます。
キャッシュがあるいもり坂は、比較的新しく19世紀に作られた出口です。金沢城公園は夜間は閉まりますが、キャッシュはその外側にあります。
