Agnes & Ivan Survived Lee Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

OReviewer: As there's been no cache to find for a long time or has had no owner response for at least 30 days, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

The year was 1972 and Hurricane Agnes was in full swing. This area was underwater and the current was so much that it swept away the bridge that crossed the Swatara not to far from here.

Then Hurricane Ivan comes along. There was not as much flooding and in 1972, but it does flood the lower fields.

Update: Lee brought more water that Agnes did. This area was completely under water with heavy currents enough to sweep a car away. I thought for sure cache would not survive, but it did.

This might not be what you think, so use you Geo-sense.

You need to find the correct log not just a piece of paper that others have found.

We placed the cache for our friends T & Inga, and SammyDogs, so they have a near by cache to help with their grid.

Disclaimer: We do not force anyone to search for my caches. You search at your own free will and your own responsibility. If you do not like this type of cache you can always just hit the ignore button and more on to the next.

Congratulations to T and Inga for FTF
