zrvers: I think everyone has checked out for this cache. There is still a trackable listed in the cache and I don't know who has it but I suspect that they will discover this at some point and then, will take it out of the cache. This was a lot of fun and many thanks for all of those cachers who participated in this event.

Geocache Description:

The first event for 2011 in the valley will be held at the Gattis Pizza place on 4100 N. 2nd in McAllen.

No Snow Flakes Here--Meet and Greet will be held on January 10 from 2:30 to 5:30.

The idea for this event came about at a meeting of the BOF group of Escapes, an RV Club. Everyone is welcome to attend and join in the fun.

As ya'll from the North can identify with, the title says it all. Snow--no thanks. Chains or snow tires are not required nor are they recommended.

A great way to welcome in the new year and to meet old friends and make new ones. It is always nice to be able to put a face on the geocache names and this will be a great time to do just that.
We will have one of the large rooms which will be free of charge but with the understanding that the participants will buy some food. Gattis has great pizza as well as other things and the prices are reasonable.
We will have a paper bag exchange as well as a couple of coins that will be given out as prizes. Each one is asked to bring a paper bag containing some sort of cache or goodies for a cache.

We encourage ya'll to bring trackables to be traded or to be discovered.

Come on out, eat, meet, and greet. It promises to be a really fun time.
