This cache is located in the Henry Ward Park. The park is named for one of the co-founders of Syracuse, Henry Ward, who was the first Postmaster in Syracuse and an Associate Judge in Kosciusko County.
Please bring your own pen to log your visit.
The park lies along the channel (Turkey Creek) leading out to Syracuse Lake and is shaded by many different types of trees. Henry Ward Park has a boardwalk, fishing pier, pavilion and a playground. It is a popular spot in the summer with the many Bass Fishing events hosted in the adjacent public access site for Lake Syracuse.
The park is open from dawn to dusk. Parking is available at the perimeter of the park.
