Have you every received a gift that you would never ever use? Well I thought that I would have a cache for all those gifts that you may or may not give to someone else. So collect up those unwanted gifts and come on by and see if your treasure is within! Feel free to leave extras!!!!! Located off the beaten track in Greene County Community Park close to the park property line. Please re-hide cache as good as found.
"Re-gift" aka: White Elephant Exchange is gifts that are typically inexpensive, humorous items or used items from home. The term white elephant refers to a gift whose maintenance costs exceed its usefulness. Because you know the old saying "One man's junk is another man's treasure!!!!!! I have started it off with a variety of lovely gifts that I have received over the last couple of years :) Please share any funny stories related to your exchange for all to enjoy.
One could also think this as our own little "island of misfit toys" from the popular TV show....Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer!!!!! Hopefully all the items will someday find a home to be loved in....they will!!!!!!
Greene County Community Park is in its early stages of development and will someday be a even better place to spend the day.
Currently it has the following amenities:
Two Soccer Fields
Frisbee Golf Course
Hiking Trails
Picnic Area with Shelter
Small Play Ground And of course a few geocaches....currently 7 hides!!!!!!!!
