Geocache Description:

A short stroll which will take you to nine different locations in order to find the final cache location.

When I take Olivia out shopping, I try to avoid the strip malls. I like the quaint little shops in different neighborhoods, such as this one. To my surprise, there are no caches in this area. Noe Valley has more to offer than most people realize. Sure there are great coffee shops, some independent, some commercial, and there are restaurants, all yummy, and bakeries with baked goods to die for. However, Noe Valley also has a farmer’s market, a library, numerous parks (a couple being dog parks), chamber music concerts, and even a stroller group.

Olivia and I love the stores in this neighborhood, and hope that when you complete this multi-cache, you will have found a couple of new places which you may want to revisit. This cache is available day and night and you do not have to enter any of the stores to get the needed information for the final.

To find the values of UVW and XYZ, you will need to visit several locations and obtain some specific information.

Now here comes the most difficult part of this multicache…the math. Follow the formulas below to find the coordinates.

The first stage use to be Ladybug Ladybug, a great little store which went out of business. Thanks to mblatch for looking out for this cache, and the caching community. He was the one that came up with the suggestion for Haystack Pizza as a replacement!
